After Jesus died on the cross He went down to hell, crushed the devil, and took the keys of life. The devil held us prisoners to fear of death, but now we are given the chance to enjoy eternal life with God the father. The greatest gift the human race can ever earn. It’s all free of charge to be set free, for the master has promised to do this free of charge to all those who desire to be free.

If you have not yet accepted Christ, then you are still in a prison cell and you need to be freed from this. The only way that can happen is if you humble yourself and come to the master who has the keys to set you free. If you are in the devils prison, you can’t save yourself, not matter how good you think you are in escaping. You will never be able to escape until you let the master who took the keys set you free. You will try million ways and times, but I assure you, you will never succeed on your own.

Many of you may say ‘well I am free’, I can assure you that you are only free in the flesh; you still need to be free spiritually. You need to be set free to enjoy the life the father has promised to us. Life on earth is very short compare to life in heaven which is eternal. You have got to decided whether you would want your spirit to be at peace and secure forever or be in turmoil. If you desire to live a peaceful and joyful life, then you have got to be set free, free from your fearful and sinful nature. If we want to enjoy an everlasting intimacy with God, then we have got to be set free through Jesus Christ the master who holds the keys to the gates of eternal life. The only way to defeat this life held in prison is by looking on Jesus for freedom for the time we have is short and we do not know when we are going to face judgment.

John 8:36 says “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”

Colossians 1:13-14 “For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”

Romans 8:2 “because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.”

Jesus meets us at our very point of shame, the very place where darkness is holding us captive, and He makes His grace reign in that very place, so that our hearts which used to be enslaved are freed from sin and transformed into places of worship.

Let us come to Christ and let Him set us all free, for I am assured that when He sets us free we are free indeed.
