Apply these six simple principles in your life and you are on your way to success

Some people spend their entire lives wondering how to be successful in life, but never figure it out.

When people ask me what they should do to become successful, I actually share with them these simple six principles I am about to write down for you. They might be simple and small, but I have used them throughout my entire life, I have found them to be powerful in achieving anything, and they have contributed so much to the success I have today. If you want to achieve true, lasting success in your life, the kind of success that will be the foundation for your life’s legacy, you just need to master these six simple principles.

SET GOALS
Goal setting is a powerful process for thinking about your ideal future, and for motivating yourself to turn your vision of this future into reality. By setting sharp, clearly defined goals, you can measure and take pride in the achievement of those goals, and you'll see forward progress in what might previously have seemed a long pointless grind. You will also raise your self-confidence, as you recognize your own ability and competence in achieving the goals that you've set. In order to achieve the success we spend our lives chasing, we first need to define our goals. Goals Hold You Accountable For Failure, Goals Tell You What You Truly Want, Goals Help Us Live Life To The Fullest.

TAKE ACTION
If I had to choose one quality that increases a person’s chances at success more than anything else, it would be taking action. ACTION is THE KEY to SUCCESS. Absolutely nothing is more important than being proactive. Actions create habits – which lead to success. If you are serious about being successful, never let a single day pass without you proactively getting your message out there in the world. It’s not enough to have a dream or vision for your work, creativity or life and just visualize the intended outcome, you have to take action. Whether you have a creative project in mind or you want to make major changes in your life, break your goals down into small action steps and take one each day.

ASK FOR HELP
‘The idea that asking for help is a weakness is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard’ says Krista Rizzo. Stop thinking you have to be the one that does it all and start accepting you're only one person. It is far better to ask for help and accomplish the task successfully on time rather than muddling down things and not being able to finish it or even worse doing it all wrong.  Asking for help can change your life. It allows for you to be more comfortable with your imperfections, open up to new people, strengthen relationships, and live a happier life.

LISTEN TO ADVICE
While it’s good to have opinions and to be able to take center stage when it comes to communication now and then, doing so too often can result in us failing to learn anything new. This is why people who listen are often wiser than those who love to talk but fail to hear what other people say. Good listeners give themselves opportunities to understand other people’s viewpoints and widen their own. Successful people, especially entrepreneurs know the value of listening to advice from others. Being a good listener can enhance your own life. You can learn a great deal by listening to others. Seeking and giving advice are central to effective leadership and decision making.

LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES
We all make mistakes; it is an inevitable part of being humans. However, it is what we do with the experience we collect from those mistakes that makes a world of difference. Mistakes can be seen from two perspectives, as a failure or a chance to right your wrong. Making mistakes might have it benefits, only if you see it as a chance to right your wrong. Learning from mistakes and failures gives you the opportunity to take risks that lead to personal growth, builds problem solving and critical thinking skills, It removes boundaries created by the fear of failure, gives you confidence and self assurance in all aspects of life, helps learners to create connections between ideas and concepts. Mistakes bring you back to reality.

EMBRACE CHALLENGES (work to overcome them)
Have you ever experienced challenges in your life — those times when you felt lost and had no idea how to keep moving forward? The challenges we face can swiftly gather momentum, clouding the constellation of our mind and freezing us in fear. The only way to become successful is by embracing those challenges and working toward them. Overcoming life’s challenges must be preceded by embracing them. By embrace, I don’t mean to accept the status quo but to face them with God-inspired courage, strength and resolve. Challenges present us opportunities for personal and spiritual growth. Our deepest growth happen when we are stretched. Learn to changed your perspective and view it as an adventure. Stop trying to fight things or control everything all the time.  Embrace life's challenges. Life gives us endless opportunities to learn, and the more difficult the situation, the more we are likely to learn.

Conclusion
Lasting success is within your grasp. It is possible. It is available, to every person who wishes to grab it, at this moment. Do these six simple things in your life and you are on your way toward success. I've found them to be a much more empowering to my mindset and enable me to live my life. My prayer is that you put them to practice and they bear true fruits in your life.

Should Your Religion Be Based On Your Feelings? Here is the answer..

Should a person decide what to believe based on his or her feelings or something that does not change with moods and circumstances? Big question! Imagine Jesus of Nazareth nailed up on the cross, dying for our sins. Suppose He said, “This is not fun. I am not feeling anything good up here. Let me off this cross. I expected good feelings, not this! Pain is not where it is at for Me. My commitment to die to pay the penalty for man’s sin is far beyond what I am feeling right now.” How would you have counseled Jesus when the bad pain hit Him? Feelings based religion is shaky. Commitments based on good feelings are subject to change any day. This unbiblical approach would make all our commitments very tentative, unpredictable, shaky. This includes: marriage, family, job and friends. A marriage vow would only mean, “I’ll stay with you as long as my good feelings last. I expect only good times, no bad ones.” Jesus did not bail out when the going got tough. Some beliefs a Christian should also...

The second necessary step in designing a successful nonprofit strategy is knowing your beneficiaries

Last week I started a series of blog posts on building a strong and successful strategy for your nonprofit and I started with mentioning the first necessary step you will need to examine before kicking off with your strategy. If you haven’t read that post, I recommend that you visit the article HERE before continuing with this one. Having familiarity with the first article will help you understand this one even much better. This week we are looking at the second step to take when designing your nonprofit strategy, and that step in designing and building a strong and successful strategy for your nonprofit is clearly knowing, stating, and understanding who your beneficiaries are. Some organizations talk about beneficiaries, others refer to participants, others to clients, service users or partners. Here we will refer to beneficiaries as the people whom your nonprofit seeks to benefit. The reason why many nonprofit strategies fail is because too often nonprofits and funders ignore the con...

Being set free by the master who holds the keys to life

After Jesus died on the cross He went down to hell, crushed the devil, and took the keys of life. The devil held us prisoners to fear of death, but now we are given the chance to enjoy eternal life with God the father. The greatest gift the human race can ever earn. It’s all free of charge to be set free, for the master has promised to do this free of charge to all those who desire to be free. If you have not yet accepted Christ, then you are still in a prison cell and you need to be freed from this. The only way that can happen is if you humble yourself and come to the master who has the keys to set you free. If you are in the devils prison, you can’t save yourself, not matter how good you think you are in escaping. You will never be able to escape until you let the master who took the keys set you free. You will try million ways and times, but I assure you, you will never succeed on your own. Many of you may say ‘well I am free’, I can assure you that you are only free in the flesh; ...
